CalmWave

Breathing experience, a protocol and an app to be in lower stress

The CalmWave experience

Nervous system soft restart.

CalmWave sessions happen outside, after dark. It's a live vj'd, projected particle wave, original ambient sound, and a group breathing together. All exercises are built-up on the fly, so no session is ever the same.

Your body has a natural rhythm: energy peaks in the morning, then falls away toward the night. Most of us live it backwards. A session runs that curve in one hour to realign your body and mind.

  1. 01

    Energize

We start by raising the energy with fast breathing, and breath holds. It's facing the discomfort and finding out it is mostly all in your head.

  2. 02

    Calm down

After reaching the peak it's time glide down. Every exercise is slower than the last, descending into peace and lowering the stress baseline.

  3. 03

    Let go

The final twenty minutes, you're lying down doing nothing at all. A soft, guided body-scan helps you realign and see the difference.

Breathing is led by light. A wave of thousands of white dots show you exactly when to breathe in and when to let go. Nothing to count. Nothing to remember.

The CalmWave app

Between sessions.

Every breathing exercise from the sessions, in your pocket. The app reads where you are in your day and picks what fits — and shifts each exercise slightly every time, so your body keeps responding and the stress keeps coming down.
